Casa Giardina is forty minutes from Ancona airport with flights from Ryan Air
London Stansted and Liverpool. Le Marche neighbours Tuscany, Umbria and
Emilia Romagna but has very few tourists in comparison and has been described
as Italy in one region and Italy's best kept secret
.Casa Giardina is located very close to the Adriatic coast and beaches. The closest
Porto Potenza Picena is a short drive, approximately 8 minutes . Long clean white
sandy and pink pebble beaches with a huge array of excellent restaurants to
choose from daily and a busy but relaxed night life.

views of the Adriatic coast.
The sun terrace is also an eating terrace with table and chairs with an umbrella. The
house is set on an elevated position and the terrace is south facing so enjoying long days
of Italian sunshine and wonderful far reaching views of the sea . On a clear day it is
possible to see Monte Conero 40 kms away.

The garden is very large, private and fenced in for safety. The grounds have a selection
of fruit trees, olive trees and conifers with laurel bushes and a great variety of shrubs.
The grounds gradually become a large, old olive grove. In the grounds close to the
house is a wooden picnic table, a covered well and a hammock slung under trees .

where one can hire sun beds, umbrellas and chairs for the day. Eat in the restaurant of
the concession for lunch and the chairs normally come free. The is a vast choice of
restaurants the majority serving fresh fish and seafood dishes. For nightlife Civitanova
offers all sorts of alternatives. The beaches win clean beach awards annually and are safe
swimming beaches .
The house has two bedrooms, one double bed and two twins both with doors leading to
the gardens. There is a spacious, well appointed sitting room which also has two sets of
French doors leading to the terrace. From the sofas in the sitting room there is are
beautiful sea and garden views . A dining area also leading to the terrace has equally
lovely views. The small pretty blue and white tiled kitchen is equipped for up to 6 people.
The house is very tastefully decorated with heating and an open fire .
The house being so close to the sea, only
an 8 minute drive to the closest beach, and
yet tucked away in the hills above the
coast makes it a perfect place to unwind
away from the activities of the coast . The
closest hill top town, a beautiful medieval
walled town called Potenza Picena is a 6
minute drive and has shops, banks and a
good restaurant, bars, churches etc.

the lovely countryside surrounding the
house.
There are countless hill top towns in
the area to explore and enjoy the many
excellent restaurants .An English

the house to help you along. The
choices are plentiful.
The house can be rented along with its larger sister house Casa Carina
found on this web site. It is separate but close enough to be a good sharing
option for larger numbers. Both houses together can sleeps up to 12 people.
